Argyll & Bute Council are inviting offers of help and support from local residents.  If you have time, skills, goods or could offer practical assistance, please register with the Council via its Help For Refugees online form.  You may also want to contact Morag Brown, Business Improvement Manager, email or call 01546 604199 for more information.

Bute Welcomes Refugees

Bute Welcomes Refugees is a voluntary group on Facebook which aims to share information about those heading to Bute’s shores – their culture, their background, the challenges they face and how local residents can help.

Argyll Relief for Refugees and Campbeltown Help for Syrian Refugees

These two Facebook groups organised the collection of donated goods for transport to help people in refugee camps and were active in 2015.

There is currently no City of Sanctuary group in Argyll & Bute.  If you would be interested in forming a group please let us know to see if we can help.
